My name is Madison Zaremba and I am a recent graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint. I graduated with my BFA in Art and Design with a focus in Graphic Design in August 2021.
I have had a passion for the arts from a very young age, participating in choir and theater through k-12, as well as other art-related extracurriculars. Although I had such a love for creating, It was not until my freshman year of college that I was truly introduced to the idea of doing it as a profession. I walked through the doors of an introduction art class my first semester having no idea my entire life was about to change. I entered that class an unsure physical therapy student and left an inspired art and design student. I took a leap, and have never looked back. By my sophomore year, I quickly became invested in the digital aspect of creating and have cultivated a sincere love for it since.
I love being able to make things that can be creative as well as functional, and I feel graphic design allows me to accomplish that best. Although I am much more of a digital artist, I still enjoy dabbling with traditional forms of art such as painting, drawing or even photography and sometimes incorporate the different forms of art together. I enjoy adding life to my illustrations and designs, whether that be with photography, videography, or even animation.
All these elements allow me to be creative in a way that I could have never imagined, and every day I am inspired by it. Now, as a recent graduate, I can safely say I made the right decision, and can only look forward to what more wonderful opportunities it will give me to create.
